The Infosys Science Foundation in association with Sishu Griha Montessori and High School, organized the second edition of Limit Infinity, an inter-school fest aimed at fostering interest in science amongst school students. Over 300 students from 20 schools took part in the day-long event that was hosted by Infosys at its campus in Electronics City. The all-day event was inclusive of a lecture by Prof. T.V. Ramakrishnan, Professor at the Banaras University and Associate at IISC, on the Frontiers of Physics.

In this article, DNA highlights the commendable work of five students of Sishu Griha School of Bangalore who took up the project of saving energy by tweaking the brightness settings of computer monitors. This group of students are mentored by the Infosys Science Foundation and has helped them with a platform to execute this project practically. Post this, the team has visited 20 companies to demonstrate the power-saving configuration. Their project also got them shortlisted by Volvo Adventure and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as one of the eight international projects and were the only ones to represent India in the finals at Volvo Adventure International Conference on Environment Education in Sweden in June 2013.
